Hero For HIRE

The Four Pillars Of Durable Power

Jon Joseph Tailly is an author with a passion for the Bible that ignited during his formative years in Divo, Cote d’Ivoire. Raised under the nurturing guidance of his maternal grandmother, Jon’s spiritual journey was deeply rooted in the Catholic faith, attending church faithfully every Sunday alongside his cousin Jean-Baptiste. His educational path led him to Catholic schools in France, where he cultivated a love for learning, particularly in mathematics and philosophy. It was during his time at the University of Cincinnati that Jon’s faith took a transformative turn. Through engaging in Bible study sessions, he experienced a profound conversion to Christianity, embracing it wholeheartedly and becoming an active member of a non-denominational church. Since his conversion in 1992, Jon’s devotion to the Bible has only grown stronger, drawing inspiration from its timeless teachings and the lives of its revered figures. With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Carolina State University, Jon brings a unique perspective to his writing, blending his academic background with over three decades of professional experience in the retail industry and corporate America. As a Senior Recruiting Consultant, he has gained invaluable insights into human behavior and workplace dynamics, enriching his understanding of societal issues and interpersonal relationships. Jon’s debut book, rooted in his admiration for biblical hero Joseph, reflects his deep reverence for the Scriptures and his belief in the power of faith and integrity. Residing in Farmers Branch, Texas, Jon continues to explore the timeless lessons of the Bible, sharing his insights with readers eager to learn from the exemplary lives of its heroes. Through his writing, Jon seeks to inspire others to embrace the principles of work ethics and loyalty exemplified by Joseph, envisioning a society enriched by the virtues of compassion and perseverance. He is currently working on his second book. Joseph’s brand was his humility, integrity, reliability, and efficiency. He was defined by those four pillars of durable power. These are the qualities that will make any of us a good hire because character counts. In HIRE, H stands for humility, I for integrity, R for reliability, and E for efficiency. To win, we must renounce pride, give up deceitful schemes, reject anti-social behavior, and embrace rational thinking or deductive reasoning. If we are spiritual, follow ethical values, have social skills, and think rationally, we will solve problems and attract employers and allies. Humility, integrity, reliability, and efficiency are the result of a disciplined life. Life for Joseph and the rest of us is a succession of tests designed to assess if we can lead many righteously and maintain harmony and balance for the good of mankind.
